Some suggestions for battles you might want to focus on:1. Italian Campaign (Operational Level): United States, United Kingdom, France (Resistance), and Italy (Resistance) vs. German Reich and Kingdom of Italy (later Social Republic of Italy)
2. Battle of France (Operational Level): German Reich and Kingdom of Italy vs. France and United Kingdom
3. Battle of Britain (Tactical Level): United Kingdom vs. German Reich and Kingdom of Italy
4. Operation Overlord (Operational Level): United States, United Kingdom, France (Resistance) vs. German Reich and France (Vichy)
5. Battle of Berlin (Tactical Level): Soviet Union vs. German Reich
6. Battle of Moscow (Tactical Level): German Reich vs. Soviet Union
7. Pearl Harbor (Tactical Level): Empire of Japan vs. United States
8. Guadalcanal Campaign (Operational Level): United States and United Kingdom vs. Empire of Japan
9. Battle of Shanghai, 1937 (Tactical Level): Empire of Japan vs. Republic of China
10. Winter Offensive, 1939-1940 (Tactical Level): Republic of China vs. Empire of Japan
11. Battle of Stalingrad (Tactical Level): German Reich and Kingdom of Italy vs. Soviet Union
12. Battle of Luzon (Tactical Level): United States and Mexico vs. Empire of Japan
We're only using three levels because our only actors in this scenario are countries, which means the Strategic and Political level end up covering the same things. This differentiation between Political and Strategic levels is only necessary when we have organizations like ISIS or Al Qaeda in the mix, and we don't in World War 2.
