GAIC: Final Project

In your team from your second partial project and using your article from the second partial as a base, make:

1. A storyboard for a 3-and-a-half-minute video where you describe your issue, your comparison between two regions, and you make a proposal to change the case you analized. It should have your cited sources, be made on a computer, and be in PDF format. Upload it to Blackboard before midnight of November 18.
2. The video planned in the storyboard. It should be uploaded to Youtube and the link included in the PDF document for the storyboard.

Each one will be 50% of your grade. The rubrics will be as follows:

Storyboard
Has images relating to what is seen in the video in all its scenes.	20%
Shows the duration of each scene.	20%
Explains each scene, including dialogue, relation to your research, and background action.	30%
PDF format	10%
Follows a logical sequence and has no English mistakes.	20%
TOTAL	100%

Video
Maximum 3.5 minutes.	20%
Content is engaging and creative.	20%
Reflects what was planned in the storyboard.	20%
Covers an issue from the class.	10%
Covers an international comparison for the issue.	10%
Makes a proposal for change.	20%

There will be no tolerance for late assignments, links that don't work, or URLs I'm unable to find or figure out. It is your responsibility to get it right the first time without excuses.
Your video should have the capacity to go viral. This means it should be informative, but also engaging and memorable. It doesn't necessarily have to be you speaking at a camera giving out information. Use creative concepts, such as spoofs or drama, to make it engaging. For example:

1. "Africa for Norway" about racism.

 

2. "Why a Wall Won't Stop Immigration", about immigration.
